Dinner & the Movies

If you’re planning a romantic, kids-free night-out in Geneva I have some fabulous places to recommend.

My idea of a great night out is dinner and the movies so I was absolutely blown away last week because the Best Colleagues in the World directed us to Little Buddha for dinner and to the Astor Film Lounge in rue de la Corraterie for our cinematic fix. What a phenomenal combination for the night (and definitely one I can’t wait to share here)!

Both places are located near the Geneva’s Grand Theatre and are only a short walk away from each other, which makes them a perfect combo.

The Astor Film Lounge is a real treat: from the reclining leather chairs to the glass of champagne included in the ticket price and the incredible selection of nibbles and drinks you can enjoy whilst watching the movie, everything is absolutely plush.

Wrap up warm with an Astor blanket!

The Little Buddha restaurant and bar lounge is the brainchild of Raymond Visan and George V Eatertainment, who launched the Buddha-Bar in Paris. What more can I say? The decor is swanky and positively cool, while the Asian fusion menu is just this side of mind-blowingly delish.

Just to give you a taster, choices from the menu include: Sashimi Tacos, Mongolian Beef, Lamb Curry with Mango Chutney and Sushi ’till you drop.

Thanks to Expat Husband’s colleagues and their superb suggestions this will most definitely go down in my book as one of the best romantic nights out we’ve had in Geneva.
